Christmas Memorial Tree 2020
Memorial Tree 2020
As we now reflect on our memorial tree 2020 we would like to thank sincerely all who helped make it such a memorable occasion despite the difficult circumstances we faced . We dearly missed the large attendance we are accustomed to over 14 years but delight in the knowledge that over 2,500 people joined us online . Our sincere gratitude to Fr .Conor Hayes and Canon Ian Coulter for leading us in prayer and blessing our tree , Marian Quinlan Curtain for her words that touched our hearts , to Templemore pipe band who turned out in serious numbers and full uniform and who have from the start made this such a special occasion,
Jim Maley
, Aoife Kelly and Templemore choir gave us a fantastic beautiful and heartwarming performance of the most beautiful hymns associated with Christmas. To all who joined us on the livestream on www.ejgrey.com to view our service and turned up the previous day to place cards on our tree and very kindly donate over €1000.00 to hospice . Personally I would like to sincerely thank Wayne Cummins who makes sure the tree is up and ready each year , Thomas Bourke who sets up the live stream and both Wayne and Thomas play a very big part in preparing and helping to run this event . To my wife Louise Grey who supports and listens and helps to keep our feet on the ground. Thank you

Our Memorial tree 2020 will run differently in accordance with current guidelines. Our service will be broadcast live on www.ejgrey.com on Sunday the 20th of December 2020 at 5pm. We are sorry and disappointed we cannot invite you to attend. It has been our privilege and we are very proud of this service. The joy it brings us every year meeting everyone for such a touching service fills us with so much pride.
This year would have been our 14th year but it is not too be, so we hope and pray that our 15th year will bring us all back together and remember our loved ones here once again.
We will be in attendance in the Funeral Home and outside yard on Saturday the 19th of December, from 10 am to 5 pm to allow you to call and collect your Christmas candle and memorial card. You may then fill in your card and we will place it on our tree or you may return at a time that suits you and place it on the tree.
All at Grey’s would like to wish you and your loved one’s a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
See you on the 19th
